The "Dyna Biopsy Control" - increase your performances with "DBC"!!!
THE DYNA BYOPSY CONTROL1) Technical description With this machine it is possible to make a bio-mechanical analysis of the human extensor apparatus. The DBC in fact gives exact information on how an athlete makes use of the strength in his/her legs. It records three specific movements made at 5m.second-intervals and, using highly sophisticated software, draws up graphs of the dynamic and neuromuscular aspects, of the kinetics chain and of the muscular condition. In this way, it is possible to carry out specific and personalized training, with the purpose of improving an individual performance. The DBC in fact directly measures the intrinsic potential of the muscle mass (pre-analysis), without interpreting the final results(post-analysis) of a performance . Consequently, it is not always true that an athlete must use pre-arranged and universally valid training exercises for his/her preparation in one particular discipline; on the contrary, thanks to this new philosophy, each athlete is able to have his/her personalized exercises which allow him/her to reach the highest level of performance possible. The latter cannot be attained using the traditional monitoring system which only uses a post-analysis.
Parameters used by the DBC are the following:
1) REACTION TIME 2) THIGH STRENGTH 3) LEG STRENGTH 4) MAX. DYNAMIC FORCE 5) EXPLOSIVITY 6) FAST TWITCH INDEX 7) DURATION OF PUSH 8) KNEE ANGLE AT MOMENT OF JUMP 9) KNEE ANGLE AT MOMENT OF PUSH 10) RECHARGING ANGLE 11) SPEED OF JUMP 12) SPEED OF RECHARGEMENT 13) ELASTIC STRENGTH AND RELATED GRAPH 14) DISPERSION OF ELASTIC ENERGY 15) STIFFNESS 16) FREQUENCIES 17) ANTHROPOMETRIC CHART 18) PERCENTAGE OF FAT AND OTHER DATA
Furthermore, by observing the arthromuscular page/graphs, the DBC can carry out functional evaluations of eventual anomalies and of predisposition to trauma of the knee joint .
2)HISTORICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE DBC
The DBC was invented by Professor Roberto Piga and Professor Giovanni Betti. Professor R. Piga is currently teaching Motorial Science at the University of Florence and he’s been in charge of the Italian national shotput, discus and javelin throwing sector for many years, and his athletes have won European and World championships. Alessandro Andrei won the shotputting at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles . Professor G. Betti teaches Physics and Maths in a High School in Florence and in the past he has worked for laboratories of nuclear energy in Italy and abroad. Although working in different professions, they have brought together their individual expertise. The machine as we know it today is the result of many years of studying; in fact, the first wired machine devised by Prof. Piga dates back to 1983. Using a single machine you achieve the result otherwise only obtainable with four different ones: adynamometric scale, an electromiograph, a videocamera and a plycometer .
3)MICHELE ROMANO’S CURRICULUM
Michele Romano meets Prof. R. Piga in 1992 . With him, he sets up new athletic training programmes and testes the prototypes of DBC. In 1993 he becomes a karate Instructor, with “excellence” In 1998 he attains the diploma for teaching P.E., with excellence .In 1999 is officially appointed by the FIKTA as trainer of the regional agonistic sector.
Furthermore, Michele Romano has attained so far the following agonistic results: 5 times team champion at the Italian karate championships 4 times Champion at the Italian karate championships vice.European team champion at Passau in 1994 European team champion at Manchester in 1995 World team champion at S. Paolo (Brazil) in 1996 Vice European Champion at Davos in 1997 Vice champion at the World Cup at Moscow in 2000 European Champion at Kiev in 2000 World team champion at Bologna (Italy) in 2000 Vice- European team Champion at Porto (Portugal) in 2001 His agonistic career still continues.
